It’s a bit bittersweet to leave Rapa Nui, but the show must go on! I enjoyed one more relaxing morning in Hanga Roa, then back to Santiago and onto Punta Arenas!

It must be so strange to live on such a remote island. Rapa Nui is the most remote inhabited island in the world! There is only one flight that comes in or out of the airport at a time, most if not all are from Santiago, but the planes are huge. The airport is tiny, not even big enough to hold all the people that fit on the plane! Luckily they have good weather because the one gate is mostly outside. Then you walk out of the tiny airport and onto a massive plane, and off you go!

Lovely commentary! I enjoyed all of it! I once had a Pisco Sour in Peru!
